Before the shoot, we’ll have a quick chat about your style and what you’re planning to get out of the session. Not sure about outfits? Bring a few options — we’ll figure it out together.
Once we’re shooting, I’ll show you how to move and pose so you look natural and authentic. We’ll check out the shots on the iPad as we go, and by blending your ideas with my suggestions, we’ll make sure you'll get the perfect photo.
At the end, you pick the one photo to be professionally edited. Want a few different vibes — business, casual, serious, or fun? No problem, we just repeat the process for each look.
Absolutely! Bring a few outfit options. I can often give tips on what looks best on camera — including jewelry and makeup — so everything comes together perfectly.
We always review the photos together on the iPad. I’ll share my thoughts, and if you’re unsure, I can point out my favorites. Bringing someone with you can make it even easier — they know you and can help choose the images that feel most authentic.
Sure. While today’s visual style leans toward authenticity, the camera often captures darker skin tones darker than they appear in real life. I brighten those areas so they look just like I saw them — or I can adjust them according to your preferences.
For portrait or profile photos, I recommend a look that feels like you. Keep patterns and bright colors minimal — the focus should be on you. Try to wear something that works year-round, not too wintery or summery. I often see these photos used for years on websites or online profiles, so it’s worth thinking about.
Yes, please. Prepare yourself the way you want to be photographed. You’re welcome to touch up your lipstick or mattify shiny areas or change clothes.
You’ll usually receive your edited photos within a week via WeTransfer.com. WeTransfer will send you an email with a download link that’s valid for 30 days.
Please note that I don’t keep a photo archive, so make sure to back up your images on a second drive or an online storage account with enough space.
Sure! With my mobile studio, I can photograph or film almost everywhere — offices, living rooms, public places, workshops, classrooms… you name it.
This fits perfectly with today’s visual style, where authentic backgrounds enhance the story of the images. I make sure the focus stays on you (or your team), while the background beautifully frames and supports the message.
Absolutely — in fact, I recommend it. Since I don’t know you personally, having someone with you can really help when choosing the photos. They’ll have a better sense of which shots feel most authentic.
Yes! Most of my photos today are used for websites, brochures, and marketing materials. Since web design is part of my expertise, I can advise you not just on aesthetics and visuals, but also on technical aspects to make sure everything looks good.
Absolutely! I’m happy to visit your company. With good preparation, I can capture up to 50 portraits a day.
Sure! I photograph groups of 200+ people in front of a meaningful background. And even if the weather isn’t cooperating, I always find a great solution.
I always charge based on the actual time and expenses. For example, if I can photograph 10 portraits at your company in one day, that usually works out to about a 20% discount compared to the individual price.
Short videos from 30 seconds to 3 minutes are my specialty. The goal is to highlight your core strengths, your company, a product, or a message .
With extra lighting set up, I’ll make sure you look your best on camera. We’ll develop the script together — today, we can even use AI to help refine it — so that your message comes across perfectly and your clients will love the video.
With good preparation and a focused concept, a video shoot can be done in about an hour. That said, the shorter the video, the more important each angle becomes — so sometimes a short video can take longer to film.
Sound makes up half the impact of a video. I focus on capturing voices, authentic ambient sounds (like water, engines, or nature), and subtle background music.
Sure! At the start of the project, you tell me how you plan to use the video. I always film in 4K, so I can create any social media format you need — landscape, portrait, square, or any other format you prefer.
Yes! You’ll get a first cut of the video to review and give feedback. If you like, we can review the final edit together on screen (meet.google.com) , refining the details and perfecting the message. Clients really love this workflow.
The easiest way is by email. You send me two or three possible dates, and I’ll confirm one of them. For architectural shoots, I often confirm two dates so we have a backup in case of rainy weather.
I charge CHF 160 per hour for the photo session, editing, and delivery. Travel expenses are CHF 80 per hour plus CHF 1.-/km.
Usually, I provide a quote for each project after a first chat. This includes preparation, the shoot, rentals, editing, delivery, and further expenses. The easiest way? Ask me for a quote.
Sure! These days, it’s pretty straightforward. Once the invoice is paid, you get full usage rights for the photos or videos, both in terms of time and geography. The proprietary right remains with me. A buyout option is also available if you prefer exclusive rights.
If not, just send me an email at info@fotoartist.com and let me know — I’ll be happy to answer all questions you have.
